Named endowed scholarships and bursaries - Doctoral Scholarship
The goal of these prestigious scholarships is to honour and support present and future generations of scientists who have an interest in African Earth Sciences and their connection with the deep human journey. There is probably nowhere else in the world where your money could have a greater impact than the creation of permanent positions and bursaries for the next generation of scientists and explorers.
Scholarships and bursaries will be for terms appropriate to their level, with panels meeting at appropriate intervals to decide on the next recipients. Donors may specify general categories of position or award e.g., human origins studies, exploration, women in science etc. Awardees will be announced internationally to increase the visibility of the scholarships. For donors who endow these permanent positions, there is the option to name the position or bursary in their honour or in the name of a nominee or entity.
